Another amazing church service today. It was in a slum in the capital city that had many refugees from Congo living there. Compared to the church we went to last week, this was a “village” church in that it was not common to foreigners, did not have electricity, and the foreigners were expected to speak. The building had been built 2 years previous and was in quite rough shape, with dirt floors and hard wooden benches. Four of our team members had a chance to share during the sermon time. It’s amazing how many preachers hide behind the guise of an engineer. All four gave very different styles and messages and were received very well by the congregation. Afterward, we went to the home that ICM will be moving into next month. We prayed over the house and dedicated it to God. We then treated our host family to dinner out.
