Tonight was the girls’ school Christmas concert . . .and the interns decided they wanted to come along to watch. Talia & Kaisa were thrilled! Both Talia & Kaisa’s classes were performing a couple songs, and Talia was also in the choir and in the drama club, so we had lots of chances to enjoy them being cute. Here’s Talia saying her lines:
We’ve actually had a lot of fun with this batch of interns. With Cindy staying at our house, we’ve seen a bit more of them, and we’ve done a few more activities together as an office too. A couple weeks ago, we all went to the Samaritan’s Purse Christmas Shoebox Processing Centre to volunteer for a morning:
And earlier this week, we took the interns to learn the great Canadian sport of curling:
This week, Talia & Kaisa had the interns busy learning the names of all Kaisa’s stuffed monkeys and Talia’s My Little Ponies (did you know that was a requirement of being an intern?!?) . . . I think tonight they all passed the test. I’m not so sure I could!
We don’t have too many more days left with these interns . . . they’re all leaving for home before Christmas. Poor Talia & Kaisa will have some tearful good-byes. They do have one consolation though – one of the interns, Leana, is coming back for another semester. Yay! 🙂 🙂 🙂 .
