Home stretch

I got a phone call from Kevin tonight!!!  I was so excited.  It’s not every day that you get a phone call from Africa 🙂  It was wonderful to hear Kevin’s voice.  It’s not a terribly effective way to exchange information though . . . especially when you’re trying to keep the call short.

Kevin said it was about 7 o’clock in the morning (Thursday morning) and he was sitting outside watching the kids walk by on the way to school.  Construction noises were in full force and it had already rained this morning, so it was pretty muddy . . . I can just imagine it, and I wish I could be there.

The trip continues to go well.  They’re heading into the home stretch now . . . I’m assuming the final presentation will be Friday – though it could be Saturday, too.  I forgot to ask.  Please pray that the team would be able to finalize the design that they’re working on and iron out any remaining issues.  Also pray that whoever God wants at the final presentation is able to be there.  Sometimes that’s just ministry people, other times government officials and other dignitaries are invited to attend.  I’m not sure what the case will be this time.  Thanks for your prayers!
