One of the changes we’ve been getting used to in Calgary is just how many people “pass through” here and have a chance to drop by. Somehow, in Fort St. John, it always seemed that the road only went one direction πŸ˜‰ . Here, we often have people stopping by for an evening or a night or a weekend . . . it’s GREAT, but can make for a busy schedule. This week, for example, we picked up our new homestay student on Tuesday evening, on Wednesday, university friends from Vancouver came by for supper and to spend the evening. Last night, Grandma & Grandpa dropped by en route to elsewhere . . . and on Monday, we’re getting together with Kevin’s brother and his family. I’m not sure that we have more than a couple days without “company” for the rest of the summer! It’s SO nice to get a chance to catch up with people . . . and, since we’re not really getting away on holidays this summer, it kind of feels like the holidays are coming to us πŸ™‚ (but if you’re planning to stay in the Wiens Guesthouse a.k.a. our little holiday trailer – make sure you book early πŸ˜€ )
