Kevin’s not leading a regular project trip this term – but that doesn’t mean he’s staying home. In fact, Kevin is heading to Medellin, Colombia next week to help assess drainage and moisture issues at a local seminary.
Engineering Ministries International got connected with the local seminary through Regent Seminary (from British Columbia), which helps other third-world seminaries develop their own libraries. The library at the Colombian seminary happens to have moisture problems and so Regent got involved to protect the books, who then contacted EMI to help with the fix. It’s amazing to see how our network of ministry contacts is growing exponentially every year to all the corners of the world.
Please pray for good communication skills for Kevin and the one volunteer engineer who is meeting him there, as they work in this very different culture and language. Kevin’s volunteer speaks Spanish and may be helping with translation. It will be a quick trip – less than a week on site - with very little down time, so pray for time effectiveness while on the ground, smooth logistics and safety.

Thanks for praying!
